KINGDOM OF ESWATINI

Day 1:

Pick Ups:  Be welcomed at King Mswati 3rd International Airport, enjoy the comfortable ride to Hlane Royal National Park.

Accommodation: Inside Hlane Royal National Park , you will be warm welcomed, and check into their B+B rondavels accommodation and dinner in the late evening.

Day 2:

Full Game Drive: The park is a haven for wildlife enthusiasts, offering an authentic African safari experience. Embark on a 2.5hrs guided full game drive after breakfast, exploring the park' s diverse landscapes and encountering its fascinating inhabitants. Witness the majestic elephants, white rhinos, and lions, with playful impalas and variety of other animals in their habitants.

Lunch: Indulge in a unique lunch experience at Hlane Royal National Park' s restaurant, where you'll savor delicious cuisine while overlooking the hippo' slake.

Umphakatsi Experience: Immerse yourself in the tapestry of Eswatini life with a unique short-visit at the local chief's homestead. This extraordinary opportunity offers a glimpse into the heart of SiSwati culture, traditions and hospitality.

Day 3:

Safari Walk: Get ready for an unforgettable 2-hours guided safari walk! Immerse yourself in the heart of the Eswatini open grassland as you explore the intricated ecosystem on foot. The park' s experienced guides will lead you through breathtaking landscapes, sharing their knowledge about the fascinating fauna and flora.

 Memorial Park: The King Sobhuza 2nd Memorial Park offers a serene and educational experience, commemorating the life and legacy of the longest-reigning monarch in African History.

Glass Factory: The Ngwenya Glass Factory tour offers a fascinating glimpse into the art of glassblowing (Monday- Friday), showcasing the transformation of recycled glass into a stunning animal figures and functional houseware. Visit the show room to buy some for friends and relatives. 

Lunch: Lunch at Ngwenya Glass Factory' s Coffee Shop offered a delightful blend of flavors and artistry. The menu features a selection of light meals and refreshing beverage.

City Tour: Mbabane the Capital City of the country has vibrant culture and history on this captivating tour. Explore the bustling market, where local life unfolds, pay homage to the Queen Gwamile, a revered figure, at her poignant statue. Step back in time at the oldest building in town, now houses the Deputy Prime Minister' s offices, and witness the evolution of Mbabane, delve into the oldest shopping complex in town (Swazi Plaza), and experience the pulse of a local life at the vibrant public transport station.

Day 4:

City Tour: Immerse yourself in the Manzini, the Capital Economy of the country 's vibrant, where the bustling market hums with life, and history whispers beneath ancient trees. Pay homage to King Somhlolo, the Eswatini religious father, before stepping back in time at the Mahogany tree, witness the King Bhunu' s historical murder trial. Conclude with visit at the serene old stone church, testament to Manzini' s enduring spirit.

Lunch: Lunching with a view: A memorable lunch at Phaselitje Rock Resort, where the panoramic vistas of the Ezulwini and Malkerns Valleys unfolds from the 1200-meter peak of Mdzimba Mountain.

Traditional Village:  Immerse yourself in the rich cultural tapestry of Eswatini at Mantenga Cultural Village. Witness captivating traditional dances, observe a Sangoma (traditional healer) ritual dance, and listen to the soulful choral music. Conclude your journey with a breathtaking view of the cascading Mantenga Waterfalls.

Day 5:

KINGDOM OF LESOTHO

Departure: The longest drive from Eswatini to Lesotho traverses approximately 820km, requiring roughly 9 hours, including a lunch break. This journey offers a scenic exploration through diverse landscapes. Lesotho is a landlocked country renowned for a dramatic scenery and rich cultural heritage.

Accommodation: Enjoy a warm welcome and check in at your B+B accommodation and a delicious dinner at Malealea Lodge in Lesotho' s scenic mountains.

Day 6:

Mountain biking: Experience the thrill  of mountain biking in the "Kingdom in the sky". Lesotho' s 8 km trails wind through breathtaking scenery, offering stunning vistas of cascading waterfalls and picturesque valleys.

Lunch: Enjoy a refined lunch back at Malealea Lodge, featuring exquisite cuisine complemented by breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Village Tour: A 3 hour cultural experience exploration. This immersive experience offers a unique opportunity to engage with vibrant culture of a local village. During the 3 hours tour, your will interact with the villagers, meet the village chief, taste the traditional beer, visit the local museum in a traditional hut, and visit the traditional chemistry with the traditional herbs plantations.

Day 7:

Pony Riding: Pony Trek to Botsoele Waterfall about 30 minutes is flat along the top of the valley. Pass the handicraft center, Makhetheng Primary School on the right, left fork to Malealea village overlooking the Botsoele River. For the bushman paintings we follow the road the Village of Molefe drop down the gorge where the path descends to the echo cave (taste out the Echo cave for amazing echoes). Continue for about 100 m, then descend to the San paintings on the left.

Lunch: Enjoy a refined lunch back at Malealea Lodge, featuring exquisite cuisine complemented by breathtaking views of the surrounding landscape.

Live Band: Watching a Basotho Band performance at the lodge, is a captivating journey through Lesotho culture. The rhythmic sounds of traditional instruments, create a mesmerizing atmosphere. You encourage to join the dance and experience the energy firsthand.

Day 8:

Departure: Prepare for a departure to the airport in Maseru to Johannesburg.
